This morning we're pretty busy for our papers and thank you cards to send to all the friends and people who'd attended our wedding last month. As of now we have a lot of stuff that we need to finish like building our new garage. Then cutting the tall weeds surround the trees that we planted. I printed and photocopy all the requirements of the USCIS for change of status. We went to USCIS site and get some information about the processing of the papers and also asked my friends about the requirements too. We're very much surprised with the price whaahhh...it's 1,010$ to change the status,it's too much oh! what if we don't have money to pay to change my status her in US. Maybe I live here TNT or illegal that is no good. Then today we sent the papers to Chicago and we're glad that we did sent my requirements.
The requirements are the following:
*I- 485 Application letter to Register Permanent Residence w/ 2 passport style photos attached cashiers check for 1,010$
* G- 325A (wife&Husband) w/ passport style photo attached.
* Copy of Marriage Certificate
* Birth Certificate
* I-797 USCIS Approval Notice
* National Visa Center Approval Notice
* Notice of her Interview w/ US Embassy
* Passport pages w/ Non-Immigration Visa
* I-94 Departure Record
* I-864 Affidavit of Support
* (Husband)Employment letter
* Bank Statements for the past 12 mos.
* 2007 Tax Returns w/ W-2 or 1099 (2007,2006,2005)
* Copy of Documents for (fiance) Interview w/ USCIS
* Medical result( the vaccination paper).
That's all we need to have and it's not exciting doing this stuff especially we had a lot of work here in our new place. But indeed were still happy because we sent it already. I hope that there's no lacking on the papers that we've sent to USCIS Chicago.
